Who Is Author Dani Love

Dani Love is a pen name used by author and self-publisher David Allery. Therefore, everything discussed in this blog are ideas of David’s and/or adopted, in part or entirely, by someone else. In the latter case, all citations will be credited to the original party.

The topics of this blog will be, primarily, aimed at assisting indie authors on their self publishing journey. I’ll share ideas on different topics related to writing, marketing, publishing, promoting and anything else related to authoring a book or ebook.

We’ll discuss such things as, but not limited to:

• how to garner reviews, building an Advance Reader Copy or ARC Team
• accomplish the all important newsletter swap
• share marketing ideas, what works and what doesn’t
• as well as anything else related to publishing on Kindle and other platforms.

You may be asking, “what makes Dani qualified to blog about these ideas”?

Dani is going to draw from her very diverse technical as well as marketing/advertising background. She has 20+ years experience as a Software Engineer and more than 12 years as an internet marketer.

These two areas, coupled with her experience in self publishing her own book, Love On The Fairway * (a romantic comedy similar to the movie Tin Cup) in July 2020 give her a unique perspective.

Dani hopes to pass on this unique perspective to her followers in hopes they will gain the insight necessary to accomplish greater things in their authoring journey. If you’d like to say “hello” to Dani then please email her.

When she’s not authoring books, Dani is enjoying time with her significant other and their two dogs. Her inspiration comes from her two daughters, two step children and five grandchildren.

She has an undergraduate degree in Business Marketing from Northern Arizona University and graduate level certificates in Nonprofit Management and Fund Development from the University of Colorado. Being a long time resident of Colorado, she enjoys the outdoors (camping and, of course, golf) as well as reading, traveling and exploring new places.
